Hello to all, I stayed there a couple weeks a go with some friends. I got to tell You. If You don't stay there u are missing old Florida. They have 15 rooms top's. OMG the owner is so Cool and laid back. Only reason it's not a FIVE. I did not find my future wife on the 5 min walk to the BEACH LOL Me being a single Man with a Pet Rock and a Goldfish at home. I said. WTF LOVEED it. No Children But personal pet's. it's not what U think. Just go for it. We live are Lives in a moment in Time. Have fun And enjoy old florida. U want Chocolates, They can make that happen as well. Chow.

This place is amazing, it's like one big family. We stayed there for Thunder Beach and didn't get to socialize as much as we'd like to have , but everybody spoke and talked as we went in and out. Braunwen is super friendly, the wine socials, which we will catch next time is a nice twist and the mimosas. It is a great adult laid back get away. The rooms are very cool. You can choose different styles and the garden and pool area is awesome. Thank you for the awesome experience.

This place is a little slice of Heaven. The seclusion of its walls for privacy and the extensive tropical garden make this gem a paradise. I wish we had found this place sooner. The beach access is a short distance and in less than 2 minutes from your room you have the Gulf washing up on your feet. Ms Bronwen is a spunky inn keeper who takes no BS. Which is fine with us. She ensures quality assurance and structure which creates this environment of peaceful ambiance. Thank you for your creative genius.

My husband and I have made plans to come back in September. My advise is to not miss out on this unique experience. Wisteria Inn is 10 out of 10 compared to the other more commercialized hotels.

I can't begin to tell you how enchanting this inn is. Amazing tropical gardens surrounding the pool area, easy access to the sugar sand beach. Chairs and umbrellas are provided for no charge (you only need to ask). And this inn has the most incredible hostess. She makes me feel like family. I almost cried when I left today. If you are looking for a perfect getaway amidst the craziness of Panama City Beach, look no further. Wisteria Inn is my happy place.

Wisteria Inn was an absolute win for us. We found it last minute and it checked off all our must haves including our fur baby. Bronwen is an exceptional host, her place is tranquil, comfortable and oh so relaxing. No worries about an overcrowded pool, no unruly kids screaming down corridors or in the pool area. Adults only atmosphere, Bronwen hit a home run with this policy and the vacationing environment it provides. 12pm Mimosas daily and wine time @ 5pm with Bronwen is a must as Bronwen will host as if you're family. Wisteria Inn will definitely be in our future hopefully again before the season slips away.

Wisteria Inn was a fantastic find! The room was just what we needed. We loved that there were no children and that pets were welcomed (though we did not bring ours). The pool and common area was delightful and it was wonderful to socialize with other adults. It feels like a little oasis across from the beach. Wisteria Inn is the most charming place that I have ever stayed at. I planned a week vacation around my boyfriend's birthday. The adults only policy & free mimosas is what originally attracted me to stay here. Although, when I arrived, I loved everything about it. Ms. B is an absolute gem! She was very personable & attentive throughout our stay. I really enjoyed getting to know her, as she is a very interesting & intelligent individual. The room we stayed in (Far East) was beautifully decorated & homey feeling. I was wild about the purple walls! The size is perfect for a couple, even for an extended vacation. The unit size & it not being on the beach were my only initial concerns before our arrival. However, my worries quickly diminished. It is literally just a few quick steps to the beach & the room does not feel cramped at all! I cannot reflect on anything even remotely negative about Wisteria Inn & it's amenities. You truly get the best bang for your buck at this gorgeous, private adults only getaway. The free drinks & beach chairs along with the top notch hospitality were the icing on the cake! You come here for the beach but you return for the unique & delightful experience. Needless to say, "Maustin" & I will be back Ms. B! I can't thank you enough for making our stay so amazing. We love you! :)

We were very disappointed, first of all if your not there by 9.p.m. you got to find someone, when we did arrive, the room was so small two people could not turn around inside room, you had no where to place your luggage. one little tiny air conditioner for the room, you may start cooling off just before dawn. i looked before we checkedout, there is no heat in rooms if you go during cold months one small very small electric heater that plugs up is on the shelf over the little coffee area. she does provide you a chair and umbrella that you tote to beach and bring back. if there available for you to grab at front entrance. Husband and i was coming from beach of course i was a little slower than he was and he was rinsing his feet and shoes from the sand and because he left water on for me that i was coming behind him, she called him out not to waste the water... she only mimmosa and wine with the people she likes, if she does not care for you she does not!!! accused younger people of smoking weed in the room..where i saw no evidence of. catered to her vistiors but you are not allowed not one visitor at all.. but they will come and drink mimmosa with her and wine then they disappear, they are not quest of wisteria inn,,,also pool very green and hot tub has zero lighting... she could have a gorgeous place just don't ta peoples money thru manipulation

Manager's Response - Thank you for taking the time to list all you concerns with me and the Wisteria Inn.

1. The confirmation letter you received stated our hours and the necessity of making PRIOR arrangements if you were going to be late.
2. The A/C in your room should have been on prior to your arrival, if it was not, that was an oversight on our part. If the cooling was inadequate at any point, simply letting us know is the best way to have the issue addressed.
3. We do not yet offer self-carrying or hovering FREE umbrellas and chairs. So sorry.
4. I mentioned the shower to your husband because it sometimes does not turn off automatically and I thought he had not noticed it was still running. I had no idea he was leaving it on for you as you were not visible.
5. I do not drink the mimosas, I serve them to anyone who asks for them. I usually have wine with whomever is sitting at the north end of the pool as it has the best breeze. Everyone is welcome.
6. It is my hotel and I can have any visitors I choose. Recently they have been previous guests who stopped by, usually bringing their own drinks.
7. Yes, we have been having trouble with the hot tub light. I have spent over $400 trying to have it fixed, only to find the "fix" is temporary.
8. The pool is cleaned twice a week. Lately, because of the extreme heat and other conditions still affecting the gulf coast, we are having it done more often.
9. We do not ever ask other guests to confirm the evidence of smoking or any other violations to our rules, especially when it doesn't directly involve them.
10. I can't imagine what you think you mean by using the word "manipulation". Our limited policies are presented up-front and in easy to understand language. No one solicited your stay. You made every decision that affected your stay - from not mentioning the inadequate cooling of your room to not reading our late-arrival policy on either the website or your confirmation letter. Aside from that, a malfunctioning hot-tub light and the fact that you had to use your arms to carry some FREELY provided chairs and umbrellas to the beach hardly warrants a response. You don't like the way I run my establishment beyond that? Fine as wine.

I found this fabulous place in Florida for a quick birthday trip. Its a million times better than I can even explain. It was this small, cute and quaint place called Wisteria Inn and its located in Panama City Beach, Florida. Its on the main PCB strip across the street from the beach towards the end where there's not as much noise and traffic and it wasn't expensive at all. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a tv and fridge. The landscaping around the property is so beautiful! They cater specifically to adults so no one under the age of 16 is allowed. This was super awesome cause you didn't have to fight through kids getting in and out of the pool. Oh! did I mention that the pool is open 24/7? Best of all this hotel is pet friendly, so Isabel was welcomed with open arms. Bronwen, the Inn's owner is a great host and provides loads of entertainment and interesting conversation. She hosted a social for the guests each day with mimosas by the pool at noon and a wine tasting from 5-6 each evening. We sat poolside with our pups getting to know other travelers and making new friends. They had complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. If you're thinking of a weekend get a way I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be going back.

The room was clean and inviting, the landscaping gave us a relaxing and enchanting feeling like a lush tropical paradise. The owner was more than accommodating and super friendly. If I could give this enchanted place 10 stars, I would. In all my travels this is my favorite place to be. We have stayed here many times and it feels like coming home. Bronwyn is enchanting, and engaging and a free spirt like my own heart! Truly a remarkable lady with great stories to tell. A charming motor court reminiscent of Route 66 but with a beach nearby! This place offered all the things I needed on a short, 2-night stay: comfort, quiet, location, easy in-and-out, close enough to other local attractions, yet far away enough to feel uncluttered and unhurried. Bronwen is a wonderful host/friend. The tropical garden/pool/tub area was very nice and I enjoyed it all alone on Friday evening, a very welcome break from the "family time" up the street at the noisy Splash Resort earlier in the day. We decided to extend our winter stay in PCB this year and chose to spend our extra three weeks at Bronwen's Wisteria Inn. We really enjoyed our stay here with our Shih Tzu Nutmeg. This is by far the most charming and intimate lodging that I saw anywhere in the entire PCB area; it's actually in Laguna Beach a good ten miles from the lurid shacky chaos of Panama City Beach proper. It really is just steps to the beach, which is glorious with its fabled sugar sand and beautiful blue water. There are pretty little shells too. The innkeeper is everything everybody says she is and has a diverse little lending library in the homey lobby that even had Dickens and Shakespeare! I booked one of the small rooms, which she warned me on the phone was really tiny, and it was, but for the price difference it was a great base from which to make excursions to visit the beach, pool, and hot tub. Bronwen has completely reburbished and landscaped what used to be a motor court (main part built in '49), and you can expect to see the faint outlines of that on the exterior walls of the room complexes, but just think of it as authentic old Florida. The courtyard is a lovely place to hang out at a cafe table and talk with like-minded guests or just relax. The only thing I would have liked to have been different was the dark paint on the walls of my small room, but had I asked I am sure she would have willingly moved me somewhere lighter--I just didn't want to be a bother. Her son is jack-of-all trades about the place and totally obliging and polite. I am looking forward to my next trip already!

Bronwen...Coal & I miss you so much!!! We need to come visit your beautiful piece of paradise from your gorgeous gardens, pool, koi pond, hammock area with mini waterfall...all across from a powdery white, quiet amazing beach with beautiful emerald waters!!!! Anyone would absolutely enjoy Bronwen & the wonderful oasis from inside, different room themes to the gorgeous gardens, pool & huge hot tub!!! I've lost count as to how many times me & my four legged friend & occasional boyfriend have stayed here!!! I will never forget the last time, we went out on the beautiful yacht & explored Shell Island. Then made dinner as we watched the sunset!! Don't let me go without mentioning the dolphin who came up to back of yacht & gave passenger a kiss!!! Absolutely amazing experience, as this had been my first time on yacht. Definitely recommend...Bronwen is a gracious host & wants your stay you be nothing but pleasant & memorable!! She's made several for me & my little 4 legged guy who absolutely loves the beach. Bronwen I hope to see you soon over Spring Break!! We will have kids, so will need condo, but may be able to escape a night!!! Wine soon my friend!!

1) Great quality rooms; super comfy beds, mini fridge, coffee pots, nice "style" to it.
2) Mrs. Bronwen the inn keeper is pleasant, hospitable, and will tend to you like your family.
3) The hotel experience is relaxing and romantic. The plant life and koi fish pond give it a paradise feel. A hot tub and pool are available both clean and open all night. (Just be respectful to other guest).
4) Location: Beach adjacent, close proximity to Pier Park, grocery store (Carousel), and gas station. I stayed for 5 nights and will be returning!

You let me eat your one asparagus stalk. That was love. I'd like my retirement job to be running that kitchen we talked about. With a personality like yours, you need to be hosting all evening. Dallas will never forget the moment you realized he'd never been to the beach much less out on the water & you lifted the front end & took off!

Let's just start with OMG!!! Wonderful place. My husband and I are truck drivers, and came to PCB for a graduation/pinning ceremony, we needed a place that was going to welcome our "4 legged dogger(daughter)". We reserved the room with a little apprehension because we had never heard of Wisteria Inn.

Once we arrived Bronwen acted as if she had known us forever, nothing forced or mechanical as with most hotel/motels. The grounds are beautiful-even though all the flowers weren't in bloom at the time. Rooms are decorated with a theme... all different! (Special touch- thank you) Parking was great, we even helped trim the tall trees with our BIG truck.
This will be our go-to place from now on when we are in the area. Thanks again for a marvelous vacation spot Bronwen, miss you already! The Pratt's

[The accommodation is heated by a space heater which I found to be unsuitable.] The wi-fi works in the lobby as per the front page of the website. The lobby, however, remains locked for most of the day [but can be opened within a minute's notice.] The location is across the road from a long clean beach and the use of loungers was welcome when watching the spectacular sunset. Bronwen was a friendly and gracious host. If you are looking for an upscaled motel this is your location.

The place was quiet and beautiful. Owner was outstanding but..... the small room was way too small and we took our larger dog with us and the place to walk your dog was too small for him to do his business.

Manager's Response - We care about our guests' comfort, which is why we have a policy that 2 adults and a pet 20+ lbs. cannot stay in one of our small rooms. When a guest chooses to misrepresent the size of their pet while booking a room, the consequence might be an uncomfortable stay through no fault of ours. As for "the place to walk your dog" being too small... I think a picture is worth a thousand words.

This was our first visit to Florida and the Wisteria Inn. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! Everything from the clean room and comfortable bed, the beautiful grounds, and the "Hostess with the Mostestest" was top notch in providing a memorable week. We so enjoyed the daily Mimosa times, the wine hour visits with our fellow travelers, and the clean hot tub and pool. Finally, the trip on the Hostess's private yacht to Shell Island was the best way to end the stay. We weren't traveling with a pet this trip, but those that do...this place will only get better with pet amenities.

What a little gem...This was my first time staying at the Wisteria, came down for a girls weekend, and was so delighted to stay here. It is so special, and the hostess is the most gracious charming amazing lady... Just can't say enough great things about Miss "B".
The gardens are a little tropical oasis, which is so relaxing any time of day... you are a hop skip and jump from the beach, no need to pack tents or towels or chairs, they are supplied for you also... We were fortunate enough to get to go on one of Miss "B" ocean cruises with many other guests at the Inn, it was fabulous recommend it to anyone... The other guests became quick friends and it was a joy with everyone's 4-legged babies along. A total five star stay... we will be back again and again... Thank You Miss "B" it was an awesome weekend.

Delightful & Refreshing. Such a peaceful Inn! Where else can you stay in nicely decorated rooms that allow all size pets? Where else can you relax without kids splashing about? Where else can you have complimentary mimosas at noon and wine social in the evening? Even though pets are allowed, we were never once disturbed by ill-behaved animals or owners. We won't stay anywhere else when visiting Panama City. Don't get me wrong, we adore children, but sometimes there needs to be a place where adults can relax. Sometimes you may visit and have the pool to yourself, while other times you may have the opportunity to enjoy conversations with other guests at the pool or in the garden. It is NEVER over crowded! The staff is WONDERFUL and very accommodating. If your looking for a place in Panama City where you can enjoy the breeze, sunshine, and relax stay at the Wisteria Inn. I was looking for something other than a chain hotel with that cookie-cutter look and feel. Something with some personality and character. Something peaceful. Oh, and the price had to be within our budget.

I found it all at the last minute in the Wisteria Inn! Bronwen took this older property, the first building from 1949, gutted the whole thing and redid it, mostly by herself, according to son Adrian. And she left no stone unturned, no corner neglected. The result reflects her love and commitment to the project. Quaint, charming rooms are accented by the beautiful, lush landscaping that surrounds the pool and hot tub, complete with a stream for koi. Bronwen has cleverly made the most of every inch of this small property, making the diminutive size of it an asset in the form of coziness. The pools remain open all night, since the inn is adults only. I was always disappointed with places that shut the pools down at night. Bronwen serves up complimentary mimosas at noon, and ! wine in the afternoon. She also welcomes our four-legged friends, and Olivia the cat resides in the lobby. Bronwen obviously enjoys her role as hostess, and is the never-met-a-stranger type of person. I hope the inn will be in operation, with Bronwen at the helm, for years to come, as my husband and I plan to return!

Free beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, lending books to read. its pet friendly, no kids here so very quiet, gated with a wall around for privacy like a tropical paradise. Only stay here now this was my 5th stay. rates are great rooms are clean, no problems in 5 yrs in 5 stays. rooms are a little small but all other make up for it. I dont spend time in rooms while on the beach anyway. Love to chat with Bronwen she is great and can recommend restaraunts if you are in need of advice. Also has a boat for cruises for a small fee. recommend here for sure.

We just spent 5 days at the Wisteria Inn in PCB and all I can say is....It wasn't nearly long enough! We've been here before, so it was no surprise to find this quaint little piece of paradise immaculate, well appointed, and simply perfect. The pool was always clean and refreshing, the hot tub was relaxing, the bed was soooo comforatable, and the staff, as usual, were all wonderful. Bronwen is a graciouis hostess who really cares about her guests. Her son, Adrian, is a pleasant addition to the staff, and the housekeeper, Dorothy, is delightful and works tirelessly to accommodate the guests needs. The Wisteria Inn is quiet, clean, reasonably priced, pet friendly, and non-judgemental. This will ALWAYS be our number 1 place to stay in PCB.

The Inn is a comfortable bargain with rooms that are clean and charming. The nearby [Pier Park] shopping/entertainment/restaurant district is a "must see" area that has many unique shops. My sister & I went to Panama City, to celebrate our 40th Birthday together. We were so pleased that Wisteria was the place that we chose to stay. We had such a wonderful time and it was mostly due to the accomadations that surrounded us. The people were so friendly that stayed there as well. We met some neat people & Bronwen was a wonderful hostess. She made us feel like we were at home and so very welcomed. Our room was cute and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were right outside our room. Everything was clean and neat. The beach was literally maybe 30 ft from the front of the Inn. We were provided beach towels, chairs & an umbrella.. it made the beach visit so much more fun! We will definitely be going back & look forward to seeing Bronwen again. I've been to PCB many times over the years and never could find "that" place that fit in perfectly with my vacation mindset. The Wisteria Inn is "that" place!!! I felt like I was in a friend's back yard in Key West!! It was exactly what a vacation was supposed to be - peaceful and relaxing. This paradise brings to my English-professor mind two literary associations, both having to do with Bronwen, the charming proprietress. One is Truma Capote's "Music for Chameleons," because of the litle lizards running all over, and because on the poolside terrace one may have a fascinating conversation with a fascinating woman, as in this short nonfiction story. Capote's book is dedicated to Tennessee Williams the author of the other literary association, The Night of the Iguana, similarly because of the paradisal setting and the character played by Ava Gardener in the movie version. Read these before or after or during your visit to the Wisteria Inn. But whether you do or not, your experience there is bound to be a real treat.

My wife and I have been staying here for several years and keep coming back. We have traveled around the world and stayed at B&B's to Huge Resorts and we love the Wisteria. It is a unique location with great amenities and location. One night you may sit around the pool and have a jam session with people you only met the day before or enjoy cigars and conversation with people from all over the country. What I love the most is the adults only enviroment as well as the pet friendly rooms. The location is close to some of the best food on the beach without having to deal with the traffic on the strip. The beach across the road is beautiful and not crowded. Try the Wisteria Inn once and you will be hooked.

One of the best hotels for friendliness, easy Florida life, definitely for the discriminating traveler. The motel owner personally attended to our every need, including accomodations for our dogs. Mimosas are complimentary around the pool at noon with wines served around the pool starting at 5 PM. This definitely increased interaction among the various couples lodging at this Florida Landmark. This facility is not big in facility size, but enormous on hospitality. I would like to visit again and again! This is a great old fashioned Floridian adventure. Motel owner knows all of the great places to eat. She has discriminating taste for foods.

My husband and I have traveled all over the world stayed at some beautiful places, but I must say the stay we had at this great little inn was impeccable. I am interior designer and consider myself quite picky when it comes to places to stay. With that being said the only thing I can say was dissapointing was we only could spend 3 nights there. It is by far the most charming & convienient place I have ever stayed. It is a little shangri-la dropped right in the middle of Panama City Beach, so private, intimate and safe. The rooms are very charming and clean. The pool, hot tub and gardens are so well groomed and beautiful from the foliage to the little koi pond. The owner Bronwen and her son Adrian are so hospitable we felt so welcomed and pampered. I will sum up by saying if you choose not to stay here you are missing a terrific experience, don't miss out, I promise you will not be sorry!!!

Wonderful place to stay on the quiet side of Panama City Beach! Bronwen was a most gracious hostess and treated us like we were old friends! The grounds were beautiful and lush with a great pool and spa, plenty of room to stretch out with a Mimosa at Noon and wine at 5:30 each day! They are pet friendly (Small dogs are best), and we plan on taking our puppy next time and upgrading to the larger room. The room we stayed in was a little small, ( and the window AC unit was a bit loud) but the amenities were great and we plan on returning as soon as we can!

The beach is right across the street and they offer beach chairs and umbrellas. Be aware that this is an adult only lodging (no children, so it makes for a quiet, peaceful experience, and they are also smoking/non smoking). We loved every minute!

There are not enough words to describe this paradise. We will never stay any other place in Panama City. It is our oasis and a home away from home. Bronwen is the perfect hostess and proprietress. She is witty, well educated, active, and delightful to spend time with. We enjoyed our conversations and mimosas with her by the beautiful, well kept, and clean pool and hot tub. We also made many new friends, two-legged and four-legged. The room was impeccable. The housekeeper was very sweet, nice, and accommodating. The wonderfully decorated room had all the provisions we needed; fresh white towels and wash cloths ( I especially liked the make-up washcloth), soaps, a hot shower, TV, coffeemaker, refrigerator, tile floor, table for eating in, extremely comfortable mattress, plenty of blankets, white robes ( We will use these next time), rugs on each side of the bed, plus a lot more.

The landscaping is out of this world. Bronwen has quite a green thumb. We pranced around looking at all the greenery, flowers, fish pond, hammock, a little bridge that was so cute. There are plenty of chairs and lounges around the pool and hot tub area. We had the pool and hot tub to ourselves the majority of the time, and when we didn't we had great people to converse with. Our toy fox terrier Roxy thought she had died and gone to heaven. She thought she owned the place. The beach was easily accessible and very private. Bronwen provided these lovely wooden beach chairs. She also provides unbrellas. Bronwen had good suggestions for restaurants that are close by. The next time we visit we plan on swimming with the dolphins on Bronwen's yacht, and maybe a day trip to Shell Island. I could go on and on and on. You will never find a retreat like Wisteria Inn. I can't wait to go back and visit my new friend. I feel like I've known her my whole life. Hats off to Bronwen for all the hard work she does to make Wisteria Inn the most fabulous place on earth.

Just returned from this quaint, peaceful, adult pet-friendly retreat. The owner bent over backwards to prepare our room for us. The building is a older one story remodeled facility. The 1 story is convenient (especially for pet owners). Gated property, beautiful paving brick and large parking area (not hot on the feet). The rooms were beautifully decorated with little accent lamps - we had a TV, refrigerator, chair, dresser, coffee pot, ice bucket, and hair dryer. A nice display of toiletries and very nice thick white towels. The location was the quiet end of the beach which was exactly what we wanted. We have not been to the area for 15 years - huge huge high rise condos since that time. Please do not compare this facility to a commercially owned establishment.

Pros: quiet and peaceful, small establishment, 1 story facility, safe, pool and hot tub, gorgeous quiet white sand beach, clear gulf waters, great location, large community kitchen with microwave in lobby area (I prefer the cooking area not in the room for odor control), mimosa at noon, wine at 5:30p, gorgeous gardens, pet-friendly

Cons: None - perfect for us.

We thank the owner for allowing us the opportunity to stay at her beautiful retreat for adults/pets.

We recently spent the week of our 35th anniversary staying at the Wisteria Inn.We loved it! The pool & hot tub area were beautiful with a lush tropical theme and very private. Very nice room and very nice pet area. Our rat terrior, Pepper, felt right at home.But the best part was the innkeeper, Bronwen, b/c of how she went out of her way to make us feel at home! You felt like you were old friends! She is extremely nice, thoughtful and friendly. We've never experienced such personal service in previous hotels before. She is also always working about the grounds making everything look really neat and nice for her guests. So I highly reccomend your next stay in pcb to be at the Wisteria Inn.....thanks for everything you did for me Bronwen! We hope to see you next year!

My husband and I have traveled all over the world, and we have never had such a wonderful experience like we did at Wisteria Inn. Not only is the resort located on a secluded side of Front Beach Road & Wisteria Lane (reminded me of where the t.v. show Desperate Housewives is located), but also wisteria plants grow around the resort.

Bronwen is the friendliest hostess I have ever met! She reminded me of my momma which made the stay even more enjoyable. Never was there a "hiccup" in the entire process from reserving the room to enjoying mimosas in the afternoon and wine at night to checking out.

We got to bring our dogs a.k.a. "children" which was most pleasant and they were most welcomed! Bronwen provided us with beach chairs and a lovely beach umbrella. If you want to swim with dolphins, Bronwen can accommodate your desires.

The rooms were clean and the maid service was impeccable. When we return to Panama City, the only place we will ever stay at is Wisteria Inn with momma Bronwen! :)

Wisteria inn was the most wonderful place we have ever stayed in! Has great rooms and fabulous people! You feel like you're staying at home but with more luxury! The people you meet there will make you feel like family :) The manager there is wonderful! What a wonderful visit! We were warmly welcomed by Bronwen, treated to wine and mimosas by the pool, met new friends, and to top it off- Bronwen took us out on her personal yacht! While out on the water, we started seeing dolphins all around us so Bronwen stopped the boat and we were able to get in the water. The dolphins swam right up to us- close enough to touch!! It was an amazing experience- and so personal- you won't get that on a dolphin charter! The only regret I had on our visit was that it wasn't longer.

Wisteria Inn is a REAL find – a hidden treasure! A true retreat – our room was spacious, clean & appeared professional decorated. The Eden-like gardens within the privately walled pool and hot tub made us feel wonderfully secluded.
Off the beaten track – but near enough to high energy entertainment. The innkeeper, Bronwen – made us feel like pamper guests. A delightful lady! Very special place – an atmosphere somewhere between Key West & New Orleans – we are looking forward to our return.

The Wisteria Inn on Panama City Beach is as unique as the Inn Keeper. This cute little Inn has a lovely garden with pool, spa, and gazebos under which patrons enjoy the company of the Inn Keeper, Bronwen, and each others company around noon for mimosas, and at happy hour with a glass of wine. The atmosphere is perfectly conducive for making new friends and acquaintances. Simply put, this Inn is an Oasis designed to encourage the gathering of the Patrons for convivial conservation and real human interaction. A place to stay where interesting experiences can be created and enjoyed is a rare commodity in this day and age of anonymity.

Bronwen, the Wisteria Inn Keeper, was named after a character in the novel How Green Was My Valley (also a movie in 1941). Bronwen may be the most interesting women in the world. Encourage her to regale you with interesting stories of sailing and her unique life experiences.

We got married on 6-27-09 and had a trip to PCB planned for months. Got there and the hotel was horrible, so we called Bronwen, thank god she answered and had a room!! We loved the Wisteria, and we met some of the best people ever right by the pool!!! The room was beautiful and clean. It was a plus that Buddy, my dog, was comfortable and very welcomed. We have all intentions of coming back!! Our honeymoon was perfect thanks to Bronwen and the Wisteria Inn!!!!!

Over the Memorial day week, my family of four (3 big men)...stayed at Wisteria Inn. It was simply lovely (we coulda got more room!). Bronwen is delightful and caring and the scenery at the Inn is beaurtiful and lush. All of the tropical planting done by Bronwen!! Mimosas were delicious as was the wine...the pool and hot tub (in ground) were restful and clean and my little dog (yes, a dog, too) was also treated as a treasured guest! The beach access was a few steps away and WI provides you with umbrellas and comfy chairs for the hot sand and sun.
I will go back, perhaps w/ less menfolk, but WI cries out for return visits.
I will return.

What a beautiful, romantic hide-away!! The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The beach is so close and they supply the chairs, umbrella, and towels. The only thing they didn't do was rub the suntan lotion on my shoulders! The room was beautiful and had everything you could want. We loved this quiet place to relax and recharge. This was our second year to stay at the Wisteria Inn over the Labor Day holiday and we had a fabulous time again. The tropical gardens surrounding the pool and hot tub are lush and create an atmosphere of relaxation and privacy. The owner is friendly and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and she also provides special amenities to guests. Each year we meet new people as we sit around the pool talking. A lot of the people we met said they come back each year because of the beautiful rooms and the friendly atmosphere.

My husband and I enjoy also enjoy the quiet around the pool since young children are not allowed. We have grandchildren but being able to sit around the pool with no screaming and splashing children is wonderful.
